Lug Width Guide for Zeniovn
If you're looking to purchase a new watch strap, knowing your watch’s lug width is essential. The lug width is the distance between the lugs where the strap attaches to the case.
How to Determine Your Watch's Lug Width:
-
Check Online – Search "[watch brand and model] lug width" on Google. Many manufacturers provide this information.
-
Measure Manually – Use a ruler or digital calipers to measure the space between the lugs in millimeters (mm).
Available Sizes:
Lug widths typically range from 8mm to 32mm, with common sizes being 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, and 24mm. At Zeniovn, we offer ready stock straps in 16mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, 21mm, 22mm, 24mm, and 26mm. Custom sizes are also available.
Understanding Strap Sizing:
Straps are often listed in a lug width - buckle width format (e.g., 20-18mm). The first number is the lug width, and the second is the buckle width. Ensure the first number matches your watch’s lug width for a perfect fit.

Strap Length Guide
1. Measuring Your Wrist
-
Use a Measuring Tape (or Paper/String + Ruler)
-
Wrap a strip of paper or a piece of string around your wrist where you normally wear your watch.
-
Mark where the paper/string overlaps, then measure that length with a ruler (in centimeters or inches).
-
-
Print a Paper Wrist Sizer (If Needed)
-
Open the PDF containing the wrist sizer and set “Actual Size” or deselect “Scale to Fit” in your print settings.
-
Cut along the lines and insert the pointed end through the slot.
-
Place it around your wrist. The number where it meets the slot is your wrist circumference.
-
-
Check the Accuracy
-
Some printed guides include a reference box (e.g., for placing a credit card). Compare to ensure the printout is not scaled.
-
2. Strap Structure & Standard Lengths
Each Zeniovn leather strap consists of two parts:
-
Long End (C)
-
Short End (D)
We offer three standard lengths:
-
Small
-
Long End (C): 105 mm
-
Short End (D): 65 mm
-
Recommended wrist circumference: 14.5 – 17.0 cm
-
-
Medium
-
Long End (C): 115 mm
-
Short End (D): 70 mm
-
Recommended wrist circumference: 16.5 – 19.0 cm
-
-
Large
-
Long End (C): 125 mm
-
Short End (D): 75 mm
-
Recommended wrist circumference: 18.5 – 21.0 cm
-
Tip: If you are between two sizes, we suggest going one size up for comfort. If you need a strap shorter than 105/65 or longer than 125/75, a custom order is always possible.
3. Strap Diagram Key
To help identify each part of the strap:
-
A – Lug width (the width that fits between the watch lugs)
-
B – Buckle width
-
C – Long strap length (long end)
-
D – Short strap length (short end)
-
E – Distance to the middle hole
-
F – Distance between holes (generally 6 mm)
-
G – Hole diameter (generally 1.8 mm)
-
Number of Holes – 7 holes in all standard straps
4. Recommended Wrist Sizes by Case Diameter
Below is an additional table combining wrist size and case diameter. However, please prioritize your actual wrist measurement and the “C” & “D” lengths when deciding:

5. Additional Tips
-
Accurate Measurement: Measure carefully to avoid choosing the wrong size.
-
Extra Holes: Aim for 1–2 spare holes so the strap is neither too tight nor too loose.
-
Lug-to-Lug Distance: If your watch has a larger lug-to-lug span, you may prefer a slightly longer strap.
-
Wrist Shape: An oval wrist vs. a round wrist can affect how the strap sits and fastens.
If you are still unsure, visit a Zeniovn boutique or authorized dealer to try on straps in person, or contact our Customer Service team for a personalized recommendation. Remember, custom sizing is available if you need it.

BARENIA LEATHER FROM TANNERIES HAAS
Barenia leather is renowned for its supple feel, making it exceptionally comfortable and luxurious to the touch. The smooth surface, with its fine pores, gives it a slight shine leave the space for the watch to be main character . Over time, the leather not only becomes softer but also develops a beautiful patina, with a slight darkening that adds your own unique strap.

HYPOALLERGENIC ZERMATT LEATHER FOR LINING
Our watch straps feature Zermatt leather sourced from the Haas tannery, carefully chosen and developed to serve as premium lining material. Renowned for its softness and enduring comfort, even through extended wear, this leather is crafted to resist water and sweat, making it ideal for climates like Viet Nam 's hot and humid conditions.

Seal with Multiple painted layer
Our process involves meticulously finishing the edges with multiple layers of edge paint to achieve a smooth and uniform appearance. Each edge undergoes sanding before the application of edge paint. Following the drying of the initial layer, we repeat the sanding and painting procedure iteratively until the edge paint achieves a polished and consistent finish

Saddle Stitched By Hand With Linen Thread
Each strap undergoes meticulous saddle stitching by the skilled hands of Zenio artisans. Unlike machine-produced lock stitches, our method ensures unparalleled durability, with two independent stitches forming a secure knot at every point. We exclusively use 0.35mm linen thread, chosen for its delicate yet robust weave, enhancing the natural beauty of our craftsmanship.
